HelpOut exists because people in need require and deserve help. 

They need solutions. They need change. They need action. 

 

In the Netherlands, HelpOut aims to support people during humanitarian crisis. We connect with official and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to allow people to participate in positive actions towards the current refugee crisis. We gather information regarding the needs of the refugees, which we then post on the HelpOut Website. 

 

On the one hand, HelpOut provides a list of items (e.g. blankets, clothes) that refugees need. Therefore, people willing to help can easily donate one of the items on the list. 

 

On the other hand, volunteers can participate and coordinate a range of different activities (e.g. basketball game, painting), which are supplied by HelpOut.
